Garbage Collection Schedule for the Thanksgiving HolidayThe
garbage collection for City of Rockford residents over the Thanksgiving
Holiday week will be as follows: Regular pick-up schedule for Monday,
November 19, 2012 Tuesday, November 20, 2012 and Wednesday, November 21,
2012. Pick-up for Thursday, November 22, 2012 will be delayed one day
until Friday, November 23, 2012. The Household Hazardous Waste Site at 3333 Kishwaukee will be closed for the weekend of November 24th and 25th due to the holiday. Seasonal Citywide Yard Waste Pick-up EndingThe
2012 season for Citywide Yard Waste pick up will conclude with final
pick up of yard waste the week of November 26th through November 29th.
Yard waste will not be picked-up again until the compost site re-opens
in the spring of 2013. |
